ABOUT ALMA

I am the daughter of two wonderful parents, Margaret and Eldon and sister to Sarah (aka - Sarita). We were a military family that has lived in many wonderful places, including 7 different states and Germany.
I recieved my Bachelor's degree in Animation in July 2005. I currently work at an awesome boutique design studio, Sandstorm Design where I am the Interactive Account Manager. In my free time, I love to play video games, go to shows, read and play with my dog, Honey (aka - Le Woof).

ABOUT NICK

Hi I'm Nick. I grew up in the Chicagoland area with my Mom, Grandma, younger brother and two younger sisters. I received my Bachelor's degree from DePaul in Computer Science. I currently work as a Project Manager at Acxiom where I have been employed for the past 6 years. In my spare time I like to practice Aikido, watch movies and hang out with my dog.

HOW WE MET

Nick and I met on a dark and stormy night... Actually, we met a long time ago (March 1995) through a mutual friend. I think it is safe to say that neither one of us thought the other was too cool. Fortunately, we met again a few months later and decided that we were much cooler! Then we spent the rest of that summer together all the time, going to concerts, hanging out with our friends and driving around. It was one of the greatest summers of all time!

HOW IT HAPPENED

KFC + Chocolate Pudding + Waterfall Glen = Romantic proposal When we were teenagers, we would often adventure through a local forest preserve called Waterfall Glen. So it is only appropriate that 11 years, to the date, that we started dating, we went back to this place for a delicious picnic and Nick popped the question.
